Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my first blog!

To tell you a little bit more about myself. I am a 30 year old, nearly 31 (gasp!), professional living in Calgary, Canada. I am, for the most part, happily single and am enjoying my 30's thus far. It's true what you hear about turning 30 - I finally feel like I've come into my own this year.

I grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Technically a Canadian capital city, but definitely has a small farm town feel to it. A bit old-fashioned at times for my liking, but it's home and I'm proud of where I grew up and how I was raised.

Why the blog? Well as a 30-something single woman, I'm definitely starting to feel like I'm in the minority. I wanted a place where I could share my observations on dating, what it's really like to be single, and just life in general.
